We have the privilege of selling the amateur / ham radio estate of the late Larry Walker, KW4A, from Spring City, TN. Larry was quite a collector and had great taste in vintage tube ham gear, as well as some of the newer solid state rigs. This is the first of two auctions for this amazing collection! His interests ranged from Collins to Elecraft and everything in between. He had the Collins “grey” boxes including various S-Line rigs and accessories, the “black” boxes including the KWS-1 / 75A-4 combo, known as “The Gold Dust Twins” and even a hard to find Rockwell Collins HF-2050 receiver and much more. Many Drake radios, a rare Hallicrafters SX-115 receiver and HT-33B amplifier and many other vintage boatanchors. All bidding starts at $5.
The SECOND auction will include the newer rigs such as an Elecraft K2/100, K3/100 and P3 panadapter, Yaesu FT-1000, and a really nice SPE 1K-FA solid state amplifier. Test equipment will include a couple hard to find tube testers, the TV-2B/U and the Hickok 539C and more. The dates for the second auction are TBD, but we anticipate a January 2017 time frame.
